Have two good job prospects coming up soon. One at a Irving church making more money, one at a North Dallas CPA firm making even more money than the church. But, I've really been wanting to try the Church thing and run my own small practice on the side.

Talked to the guy at the church yesterday on the phone. I have several things going in my favor, and should meet with him for an interview next week. His goal would be for this personal to be the CFO of the church.

Ran across a client from my old job at church today...she's very upset that I'm not going to be there anymore.

Indeed it is. I see old customers frequently. Several even make the drive to the shop in Frisco to purchase things from me.

Thanks Jami. The man I talked to at the Church was not really interested in talking to anyone who would have a long commute every day...ie Rockwall, etc. So, it's also in my favor that I live close...

First, he doesn't know that. He's just been told that I live in Irving. Second, I don't plan on moving out of Irving unless I need to. Third, I still have to sell this house, so it may still be a long time before I move....
