Been reading throught a few of the threads this evening, just catching up. It has been a 6-8 weeks of pretty serious illin', West Nile coupled with stomach virus and possibly other stuff. This is the lowest I have been....running more tests, blah, blah, blah.
I am learning that doctors listen poorly. They get it in their head that a patient has something, regardless how many times the symptoms don't fit their diagnosis.
Thanks for the kind words. I am feeling a little stronger (pretty relative) and should be around again.

Hi BBS! I have missed chatting. Was unable to attend Easter Sunrise Services yesterday. Did you enjoy the Dallas Digest Oratorio Chorale? Their version of "Up From the Grave He Arose" is still my favorite.

| There's another one best sung on Good Friday that's my all time favorite Easter Hymn. I can't remember the name, but it's written by Beethoven or Bach...

Glad to see you back around.
If it were only doctors who listened poorly.

DANG, Ric, that was funny.....
"Up From the Grave He Arose," and "He Lives" were always sunrise service staples. As a child I recall singing the second line a little different than the original.....
"Up from the grave he arose, with a mighty triumph 'oer his foes...."
"Up from the grave he arose, with a mighty trumpet for his nose...."
I am sure there are lots of others who mis-sang a few lines in songs......

Greetings. Just a quick update and request. On my last post, I mentioned that complications from West Nile....turns out to be much more serious. Turns out that I have liver cancer, it is malignant, and a host of doctors all have an ominous look about them.
The request is for prayer. Any and all will be deeply appreciated.
