oh, I Janet Evanovitch....makes me lol.
I'll go from an intense thriller to her and back to blood and gore!

That's me...

I didn't like The Appeal...

I'm currently listening to a Ludlum Covert One series the Altman Code...LOVE it so far (Ludlum didn't write it, he's dead...)

stemyn, I would do the stephanie plum series, and start at the beginning...you can get a set of the first 4 or 5 in paperback for not much...just remember, to read them in a humorous vein...very light, and a little girly, but they make me laugh...

Somehow I don't think the guys are gonna spend time wondering who should play Ranger if a TV series or movie is ever made of the Stephanie books............

Oh Contrare oh wise BBS...

The cast (yeah, it's high powered, but, it's my cast)

Steph = Mariso Tomei (that's easy)

Lula = Queen Latifah (another easy)

Ranger = Benjamin Bratt (well duh) (although Lou Diamond Phillips could pull it off) (oooo, just thought The Rock could play him too)

Joe (this is my tough one) = .............Chris Noth is too old, McConaughey is too South...

Grandma Maser = Cloris Leachman

Diesel = Vin Diesel

There you go...

Am currently re-reading ( after about 20 years ) Jackie Collins' Chances ( 1st book in the Lucky Santangelo series ).

Saw the audio book of Debbie Macomber's new Twenty Wishes ( from the Blossom Street series ) at Sam's, but not the actual book.  It's supposed to be out this month.  Or maybe it was May.

Ranger, a little guy???????

BTW, I am almost finished with The Venetian Betrayal by Steve Berry...get past the first part history lesson, and it's VERY good...along the lines of Da Vinci Code...I'm hoping the ending doesn't disappoint

Definetly recommend The Venetian Betrayal...very Da Vinci Code esq, without quite so much blabber...

A little over halfway through Dean Koontz's The Husband...pretty interesting and dark so far...
