| I can't really smell, but we used to have an aromatherapy candle that was "cucumber/melon" NK says. It was their stress relief one. I could not reeally smell it, but I did feel better after having it lit for awhile.

Read a pretty good book last evening - Left to Tell. It is the story of a Rwandan girl who survived the genocide....pretty gut-wrenching stuff. She and 6 women survived in a tiny bathroom for months with killers looking everywhere for them. It is not that graphic, but is well worth the read.

| I'm about to go pick up Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet. I don't normally pick up books from Oprah's bookclub, however after hearing about it and checking it out, it looks like a great read.

Used to read all of his years ago and don't know why I stopped reading him. Let us know how you like it.

Tuesday afternoon, I picked up Robert B. Parker's Blue Screen ( Sunny Randall mystery ) and Mrs. Miracle, a Debbie Macomber book I hadn't seen before.
There are five Sunny Randall books, and I have yet to come across the 4th one ( Melancholy Baby ) at a store. I hate to read stuff out of order, but I caved. The book looked brand new, too.
I highly recommend Ken Follett's On Wings of Eagles.

Cool, Stemyn.
Rant Alert ( having nothing whatsoever to do with this thread )
Okay, the electricity has gone out TWICE in the past two hours !!!!!!! The first time ( just after midnight ), I was frantically looking for the TXU phone # and/or a recent bill for the acct. # in case I needed it. By the time I found the phone number, it was back on.
I brought the little MagLite in here to the computer room just in case. So this time ( 1:55 a.m. ), I headed straight for the land line ( which I will never get rid of ) and called. There is actually still an option to talk to a human being !!!
Anyhoo, whatever the earlier problem was in this area did not get totally fixed. The pleasant Customer Service Lady ( how fun must it be to work overnight on Thanksgiving Eve ?! ) said it should be back on before 3:00, but most likely before that. Obviously, since I am posting, it came back on way before 3:00.
Okay, this does not make me feel very confident. Rolling blackouts 'cause people are turning on their heat all over town ?? What's the deal ?? I really don't want to think about the Thanksgiving food spoiling in the refrigerator if this keeps happening............
- Rant over ( for now )

Sister is a Sunny Randle fan and suggested I read....she also mentioned Christmas, so I may get lucky.
Sorry about your power issues. Yet while I do feel for you, I did enjoy reading the rant.

I'm not quite sure why that made me laugh.
No more power issues the rest of the night.

That will teach me to re-read posts before posting!

How many posts can a poster post if the poster cannot post?

A poster could post as much as a poster could post if a poster could post posts....
