Isn't that akin to that other "disorder" where you walk into a room and then realize you forgot what you came after? (happened to me this morning)
"Disorder?" Are you kidding? That is a norm.

It is fastly becoming the norm here too, MM .......
SIL recommended Kathy Reichs and lent me Deja Dead.....I started it last night, but it didn't 'grab' me......I'll plod on a little further today.

Let us know how you like it or if you make it through.....one nice thing about getting older, I no longer have to finish lousy books just because I started them.

After several futile attempts, I cut my losses and moved on (but we're still friends ).

At least she understands.....that is much better than having to fake it...."oh, yeah, that wasn't too bad...." at which time they start talking about a book you couldn't stand reading much less discussing.

| Just finished the latest in Robert Ludlum's Covert One series (of course, he didn't write it)...I think it was Arctic Event...anyway, it was really good entertainment...

It's been way too long since I read a Robert Ludlum novel or reasonable facsismile thereof. Hay, I might have picked one up at my recent Half Price Books binge !!

Hey, Ric, how you feeling?
I ordered a James Lee Burke book I had not heard about
"Jesus Out To Sea". You read it?

Not bad, marti... still some pain from the surgery.. but I walk without pain in my legs for the first time in a long, long time.. The pain now comes from the brace sitting right on top of the surgery incision....
...and, of course, the pain killers help lots... :):)

Glad to hear you are able to walk without pain. How much longer for the brace?
I agree with you on Ludlum and the detail....I tend to buzz those parts. Also, here is one vote for the "real" Jack Ryan, Alec Baldwin.
