This thread is heading toward not belonging on the light side.  I'm outta here.  Someone please change the subject.

what is up with this?? And I'd have hated to have seen it before you 'clarified'...

But.. since you opened the door.. I'll say this.. a lot of 'regulars' over here are here because they need a respite from being fleeced on the regular board, simply for having a cntrary opinion. Aaand Nephew Bubba, as *I* recall, that is EXACTLY why Yvonne opened this side many moons ago to begin with...

You've commented to me before that you think that we think this is our own little space over here. Well, it sorta is.. there's maybe a dozen people that post over here on this side on a regular basis, and we pretty much enjoy ourselves over here, and I can't remember a time when anyone has bickered and/or quarreled seriously over here.

Sometimes, on the board's more popular side, there is a Nascar mentality.. some like the waiting for a wreck threads so much that they started a similar entire board where anyhing goes, and many of our current and former friends/posters are over there, too..

Obviously, the majority of us LIKE the threads and things we talk about over on the Lighter Side of the DD... as do you, obviously, since you are popping in on a more frequent basis...

In all sincerity, I would like to apologize for acting so childish yesterday. My "blunt and to the point side" got the best of me yesterday.

I ended up getting ME a laptop in Richardson last Sunday, and giving him my better than average Dell... his decision.. if he took the new one, he'd owe me for it.. if he took the Dell, he got it free...
