When I was going through my divorce, I really had very little. Several people came forth and were generous. I was SO very grateful for their generosity -- but their were a couple of people with whom I was uncomfortable about it.. I certainly was in need, but didn't want to be anybody's "charity case" nor did I want to be beholden.
What you have done for her is awesome and I'm sure she's unspeakably thankful. But like you said, she probably hasn't learned to be gracious and she probably is a spunky gal.
I wouldn't bat an eye about what you already have done -- -she's grateful.

I'm just now seeing this!
My dear sweet husband has to work so I won't be doing anything much except for grocery shopping, running errands, steam cleaning furniture, organizing the junk drawer. May do some cooking of course there's laundry.
I'm just glad to have an extra day for some R&R. I've got a couple of TV shows to catch up on and a book to start.
