Okay, let the questions & speculation begin :

~ Does Charlie survive ??

~ Will our Losties really, truly leave the island and get to go home ??

~ Will we really find out the origins of the Dharma Project, and if they or successors are orchestrating events on the Island ??

~ Where the heck has Walt been ?!

~ Will we get to see Sawyer without his shirt on Thursday ??

***  There is a 2-hour recap/background special on Wednesday night.  ***

:alert:

Two-hour Season Premiere is Thursday ( January 31st ) at 7:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.

Tonight is a repeat of the season ender from last year and the producers say they will have some additional highlighting of clues on tonights show. So some of the stuff you might have missed last year, may be clearer with the emphasis they plan on putting on them.

ah yes, if only I was 20 years younger, 30 million dollars richer, and 40 pounds lighter, she would be mine.

~ Will we really find out the origins of the Dharma Project, and if they or successors are orchestrating events on the Island ?? It's really a big Eastern syndicate.

~ Where the heck has Walt been ?! On a secluded part of the island there is a resort that caters to people without a home.

~ Will we get to see Sawyer without his shirt on Thursday ?? Oh jeeez.

~ Where the heck has Walt been ?! With his daddy? I read that the daddy will be back on, I guess Walt too.

~ Does Charlie survive ??  Why not? He's rich, has a fairly successful TV series, and he beat the solicitation rap. His father Martin is in semi-retirement and his kid brother Emilio Estevez has also had a successful career. Ol' Charlie's gonna be all right.

~ Will our Losties really, truly leave the island and get to go home ??  No, but they meet some nut named Gilligan and his friends.

~ Will we really find out the origins of the Dharma Project, and if they or successors are orchestrating events on the Island ?? It turns out to be a right-wing conspiracy fueled by Global Warming.

~ Where the heck has Walt been ?!  He died years ago but Mickey, Donald, and Goofy live on.

~ Will we get to see Sawyer without his shirt on Thursday ??  Not only that, he lost his pants in a poker game.

My On-Screen Guide lists Thursday's 8:00 p.m. hour as the Season Premiere.  So what the bleep is the 7:00 hour gonna be ?!?! :soso:  A repackaged episode ?? Something actually new ??  :who:

Of course I'm gonna watch, whatever it turns out to be...............

LOST Fever - catch it !!

I'm going to PVR it and watch later. Their advertisers have really gone overboard.

Last night's repetitious 4 minutes of show, 2 minutes of commercial bit was maddening (I exaggerate-but only a little!):snarl:

It was kind of like watching pop-up video on VH1 back in the day.
On a personal note, I thought Kate looked good last night.

I enjoyed the replay of the last episode last night - the captions were great, although I ended up with a headache from squinting to read them (the Lazy house hasn't invested in a large tv yet).  I didn't realize there were so many references to The Wizard of Oz & Star Wars.

I think the 1st hour tonight is one of those recap things to get us caught up.

I didn't get to watch last night, dang long winded phone call.  :frown:   I recorded it, though. TONIGHT, we order pizza and I'm not going to answer the phone, LOL.

You'll be really glad you recorded it, Jami. You're may need a new remote, though. There are about a hundred commercial breaks in the one hour show.

Well what did you think of the first new episode of the season? I liked it a lot. I thought the Hurley chase thing was funny.

Well, I watched tonight, both hours. I feel sort of caught up to date but the things I'm confused about will just have to stay that way. One question though... just at the very end of the opener tonight Jack and Kate were seen watching a paratrooper arrive on the island .. obviously a flashback type thing since they are off the island, right? But the paratrooper... dangit... I didn't get to see his face because my son walked in just at that moment. From the look of surprise on Jack and Kate's faces it was someone we know????

Helppppppppppppp! I'm LOST again and the darn thing just started!

Did you watch Eli Stone after Lost?  They just had a "commercial" for Oceanic Airlines that offered a "golden pass".  And during that commercial, a face in black & white kept interupting the transmission and showed that face reporting that they found the aircraft underwater.

If you didn't see it, it is hard for me to explain, but it was definately related to Lost.

Did you catch that when Hurley got caught, he said he was one of the Oceanic 6?  Does that mean that only 6 people got off the island?  So that is Jack, Kate, Hurley and only 3 other losties rescued.

And who was the skinny black dude that questioned Hurley in the hospital?
