Everybody had a good laugh last August when Roll Call broke the story about Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, getting arrested at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport for playing footsies in a toilet stall. The late-night talk show hosts mined the material for days; Slate produced a re-enactment of the bathroom ballet; and newspapers, magazines, and cable channels shredded Craig.
Why no coverage on Edwards?

Why no coverage on Edwards?
Maybe if Edwards blew a cop in a public restroom and got arrested for it...........it would have been a bigger story SS.

A democrat, a prominent democrat at that, doing this sort of thing is elevated even more in the democrat party. It's an enhancement to his resume.
Sorry, a liberal, not democrat. There are still some good democrats out there.

Probably the same reason as why they didn't cover "George Bush Abducted by Aliens".

i got a laugh out of it, as i love to see the fraud exposed.
wonder if he' still got that goofy smile going on. . . . .
his wife has had enough stress and now have to tolerate this crap.

A hotel security guard told FOXNews.com he intervened this week between a man he identified as former Sen. John Edwards and tabloid reporters who chased down the former presidential hopeful after what they're calling a rendezvous with his mistress and love child.
The Beverly Hilton Hotel guard said he encountered a shaken and ashen-faced Edwards — whom he did not immediately recognize — in a hotel men's room early Tuesday morning in a literal tug-of-war with reporters on the other side of the door.
"What are they saying about me?" the guard said Edwards asked.
"His face just went totally white," the guard said, when Edwards was told the reporters were shouting out questions about Edwards and Rielle Hunter, a woman the National Enquirer says is the mother of his child.
The guard said he escorted Edwards, who was not a registered guest at the hotel, out of the building after 2 a.m. Edwards did not say anything while he was escorted out, said the guard, adding that at times the reporters on the scene were "rough on him," sticking a camera in his face and shouting questions.
The guard did not recognize Edwards at the time of the incident, but said he concluded it was the 2008 presidential hopeful after hearing reports about the incident and finding an Enquirer reporter's notebook at the scene.

I don't think it's credible. The guys who saw him didn't have a camera? Not even on their cell phones?
Not buying it.
At least with Craig there was a cop and he makes a much better witness (even though I think the cop had a general ax to grind but that's another topic that we've more than covered) than tabloid "writers" who somehow don't have any photos, not even grainy fuzzy photos, to back up anything.

wonder why the call was not out to shut up about Larry Craig ..this huge coverage of
him ..must have really hurt his innocent wife, children and grandchildren..

Maybe Mr Edwards should have thought of that before he boinked his mistress at the Beverly Hilton.
I can tell you the difference...One is a Republican...the other is a Democrat rumored to be on the short list for VP and who has openly said he would be honored to serve in a Hussien Obama administration.

I don't believe this one................evidence points to this being a phony story.
If they were tailing them........why were no pics taken?

I don't know...Fox News did independantly confirm that reports and Edwards had a confrontation and now the two NE reporters have filed a criminal complaint against the hotel security guards for their actions on that night.
