But most gave up with nary or hardly a shot. Poland was game, but completely lacked the capability to be of any use and was quickly steamrolled. France lacked the leadership and will to defend itself. The Norwegians, like the British in the early stages, were too trusting and were taken advantage of. The Swiss declared neutrality and bankrolled both sides of the conflict.
Millions of the citizens of European nations were exterminated.
The Finns, God bless 'em, fought like hellhounds and created a lot of problems, but eventually succumbed (they have my respect).
Which, in the end, pretty much left it up to the United States to save the world.
And we want to rely on these losers to do what, exactly?
Whoa there jello, you might want to tap the brakes on that one! The Russians did one hell of a lot of damage to the Huns !
