Fighting Yellow Jackets

Maroon and Gold

High school of Jimmy Johnson, Janice Joplin.

TJHS is no more - it merged with Lincoln High School and is now Memorial High School. The 9th and 10th graders are on one campus while the 11th and 12th graders are on the other.

As a young kid growing up in Vidor, I thought that TJ was a sign of Satan.  They always crushed us in football (so did everyone else) and they seemed to be pretty arogant folks...I hated them...Of course...back then, they had some quarterback named Todd Dodge ( I thought that he was the FACE of Satan) that has done pretty good for himself recently...

As for me...Neches High School; Neches Texas Class of 1986
