one of the guys I drink coffee with was born and raised in the upper part of Michigan. He went off to college and ended up in the lower part for awhile before he made the move to Texas. His wife and daughter are up there now.

Class of 1974......all 35 of us.
Colors are royal blue and white.

This is a big gripe of mine right now. The school colors are royal blue and white. Not blue and black, not black and white, not black and white with black trimmings. ROYAL effin BLUE and WHITE!!!!!!!!!!
sigh.....it seems to be a trend right now. Every school, and I mean every school we played last year had black as a third color in their uniforms. The only school that didn't was Celina.

I know it's a trend and I'm sure the schools are getting a price break on the uni's but it drives me nuts.

Gopher, I'm confused....royal blue and white = 2 colors.

Is the problem that you had black and blue when you were there?

Geez! That brings back memories! I spent a semester at Ranger and we played a game against Cisco in Eastland called the Peanut Bowl! I lost some teeth in that game!!!

They have added black. Lots of schools are doing that. For example, Southlake Carroll wears black pants with their "away" uniforms; their colors are green and white.

AMEN!

From what I've been told black makes the players look bigger.    I'm sorry, cloth does not make you a better player.  You are bigger, stronger, faster,  better conditioned, better coached than the other team.  Period.   The color of you linen makes no difference.

Wow.....

When the new high school was built in my hometown and it became apparent that I would not be allowed to finish at the old high school, we thought about transferring to either Clyde or Merkel. I had relatives in both towns.
