The guy I talked to yesterday told me that the $30 covered internet and unlimited texting. The $10 that I was paying before covered some multi-media thing that I never used. Maybe I'd better call back and see what I've got. Or maybe the $30 covers unlimited texting on my regular phone, but when I switch to an iPhone it won't cover it. Do ya think?

I guess the guy that I talked to didn't understand that I was planning on switching soon. Oh well, as long as I do it fast, the prorated charges won't hurt me too bad. I have the Data Unlimited plan now for "other" phones, and for iPhones you need the Smart Plan.

the more I see and read about these phones They are really gouging us for the use of them. I don't text much at all. but I read that a sending a text costs 1/10 of what it costs to talk for the same about of time it takes. But they charge so much more for it. The 2 yr contract makes me mad too. I have been with out a contract and just month to month with them for well over a year now. And the $30 a month for internet access is bloated too. They are making a killing off of these phones. But this is what my wife wants so I am getting it for her. But if you read their page telling you about the plans, they have warnings and threats all over the page. Not a great sales page in my opinion.

If you are not a big internet user the iPhone is not for you.
