   | please don't take my homer card but,
 9-7

The offensive line was in bad shape at the beginning of August. Back up QB is slightly better than Brad Johnson. recievers are not as good as believed. Miles Austin had an awesome year last year, but why did it take 4 years for him to come into his own. And we just traded away our 2nd best reciever. dez should be great , but not this year. Has Jason Garrett learned what to do with a running game? Schedule looks really hard right now.

Receivers are better than last year, Miles Austin basically takes Crayton's role.  If they are putting Dez in Crayton's place... even better.

 TE position is loaded

Running backs are fine as long as Jones can stay healthy.

Two pro bowl corners, but I think Newman is a little over rated.

two all pro linebackers, could be 'cause I think Brooking is.

Offensive line has some depth questions, but they were able to get the backup guys a LOT of work.

My ONLY concern going into the season is Roy Williams.  IS he going to continue to pout, or is he going to step it up?  I think having Vrayton out of the locker room is a plus for Roy.

11-5 (if there are no significant injuries - Romo, Ware

   | 9-7, no playoffs, NFC East title will go down to the final week of the season.
The O Line got exposed vs. Minnesota, and the Cowboys didn't do anything to make it better.

The best teams in the league are always striving to get younger. For all of the things Jerry Jones has done right as owner/GM of the Cowboys, he has never learned that lesson.

Marion Barber should have been released during the off-season. The same goes for Roy Williams. Guys that can no longer play or never could play shouldn't be allowed to stick around.
