the old fart -- My Dad
he ran off to a casino in Louisiana yesterday morning with one of his widow women
which is fine, except it leaves me to field calls from the other old women who have been calling for him and can't get him on the phone
had two call me last night on my cell to tell me they could not reach him on either of his phones -- they always sound so hurt when I have to tell them he has run off with another woman
his housekeeper just called, she is outside the house trying to get in to clean -- he did not call her and tell her he was going out of town

Omigosh...how funny!! Good to hear that he has enough energy to run off like that...
Can't you just tell the others you don't know where your father/child is? Maybe then they'll stop calling you.

naw, then they would report him missing to the Sheriff
when it happened a few months ago I wondered how the lady had my cell -- I realized when I was at his house -- the housekeeper had made a sign and put on the refrig, "His Son xxx xxxxxxx lives in Corsicana and his cell phone number is xxx-xxx-xxxx." , so these women had gotten my number there when they were up getting him something out of the refrig* (he is the type of host who offers you something and tells you where to find it and what to bring him)
as far as his energy, he runs off for a couple of days and then comes back and lays up for a couple of weeks

Sounds like the perfect ladies man to me. And I'd just let them report him to the sheriff...and warn the sheriff in advance. That's just stupid of them...

he is not much on going to their places for some reason
thirty minutes before the game he was calling me wanting to drive over and stay at my place -- I was already on my way out since he had canceled on me three days before -- he may be here tonight
