Merlin was a Rams great, but having his name up in STL' "ring of honor" doesn't seem right since he played his entire career in LA.    It's like the Colts having Johnny Unitas's 19 or Tennessee having Earl Campbell's number up.

Same for the Dodgers having Jackie Robinson and Roy Campenella's names up in LA when they never played a minute in LA.  They were BROOKLYN Dodgers.  :nono:

The Rams are now in St Louis, thus he's honored there.

I find it odd that the Cleveland/LA/Anaheim/St Louis Rams include some Cardinals in their Ring of Fame

STL fans remember Larry Wilson, Roger Wehrli and Johnny Roland better than Olsen.

They never played for the Rams
Let Arizona honor them

+1     I also think that when a sport franchise moves to a new city, they shoud change the teams name as in the Cleverland Browns to the Baltimore Ravens

Its Dierdorf & Jackie Smith along with Wilson who the Rams included in the Ring of Fame at their Dome

The people  who made that decision share most of the blame for the Rams going 6-42 the last 3 years.
