from the dictionary:

base, low, vile mean deserving of contempt because of the absence of higher values. base stresses the ignoble and may suggest cruelty, treachery, greed, or grossness <base motives>. low may connote crafty cunning, vulgarity, or immorality and regularly implies an outraging of one's sense of decency or propriety <refused to listen to such low talk>. vile, the strongest of these words, tends to suggest disgusting depravity or filth <a vile remark>.

Oh I like that  LL.. It pays to enrich my word power hahahahahahaa

Hey Jami.. we have a new word for ....YouKnowWho.....

Aaaaah...yes, does his name start with a "Z" and end with a "ephyr"?

I read recently that the kid who plays Jake is the highest paid minor in Hollywood.

I can't imagine his character without Charlie to bounce off of.  Guess that show will be ended now.

It ended for me last season.. It had gone stupid and filthy..

They've made his brother a pervy freak.. Jake was hysterical with his dry humor...Rose was funny and Berta was funny but it all went to crap!

How are things different now than from before, except Rose is gone?

The show started out as cute and funny but, like Orphie said, it's gone stupid and filthy.

The storylines are just gross.. and so far fetched.. The whole Rose thing was pretty funny now that I think about it.

We miss Rose.  Felt the show lost something when she left.

It was a subtle change...or perhaps we had reached our saturation point for crude humor.........but, it just lost its appeal.....and became too base.

I don't know we're tired of it.   It's still a top 5 show.    But after so long, it's hard to come up with new stuff to keep it fresh and that's the same for Seinfeld, HomeImprovement, Cheers and all the rest.

I just don't know where they could go with Rose the stalker.

But since day one, it's always been a kind of "raunchy" show.  But the people seem to "charlie the loveable drunk/womanizer."    When men do it...they're studs.   When women do it, they're sluts.   Double standard?   Yeah.

:cpuch:

We went to see Wall Street 2 the other night.  Charlie Sheen has a scene with Michael Douglas and he looks like he was drunk when they filmed it.
