Yep. Holland, of all people, started it off.

Why can't Wash let O'Day finish an inning????? He has pitched well all season. He got 2 outs and gave up a single.

Okay, SF won their 2 at home. Texas wins 3 here, and gets some momentum going.

Words cannot express how I feel right now.....well, except for the kind of words that would get me kicked off of this board. As much as I hate The stinkin' San Francisco Giants right now, I can't blame them for what's happening. It hurt me to have to blame my Rangers for this fiasco. Okay, I needed them to win as an escape from reality and not think about how miserable I was about my so called love life. Now, everything sucks! EVERYTHING!!!!!! Dammit Rangers, give me something to feel good about. (Oh yeah, I feel good that they made The World Series, but......)

Still not worried.
But I'm damn sick and tired of the frontrunning armchair managers who have all the answers for a team that's in the frickin' World Series for the first time in half a century. There are half a dozen reasons we're down O-2, not the least of which tonight are great Giant pitching and an absence of offense. Wilson earned a paycheck tonight. The bullpen didn't - again - but has all year. That's the way baseball go.
Judge it on the long haul. We'll know next week about a championship, but we already know about the season. It's been magical. Throwing out "f***ing Wash" and all that other crap can wait until the Series is decided.
The guy is a candidate for manager of the year. Anyone? Buehler? Second guess him all you want. Don't insult him. He's got a pennant-shaped skin on the wall, and has earned better.
No one else here did it. He did. With help, of course - but he still did it.
Giants fans refer to their team's recent personality as "torture". Evidently they can take it better than some of us. And in spite of how we've been trained by nearly universal disgust with the Cowboys, baseball isn't the same. It takes eleven wins in the post-season to count for one championship. That's not as easy as it sounds.
This isn't over yet.

I will admit that I am worried. I haven't thrown in the towel, but having lost the first two games with our two aces does scare me. I have faith in Colby Lewis and expect to win game three. A little worried about game four with Hunter (and Holland, if Hunter falters early). I want a sweep in Arlington, but will take two of three (otherwise the series is over). I want to go back to San Francisco with a three to two game lead and I'm okay with a three to two deficit. Originally picked The good guys to win in five or six. Hope it goes six or seven. Still proud that they made it to the big show, but I will be disappointed if the parade goes through SF. Love The Rangers...hate The Giants (even booed Tony Bennett when he sang "I left my heart in San Francisco). Still hopin', but not as optimistic as I was. C'mon...GO RANGERS!! Let's beat these sissies from the city by the bay.

You do not get to the World Series by sucking. They've had two bad games and caught almost zero breaks. A ball that bounces back in off the top of the fence when a home run changes the game?
Yup. That's sucking alright. Blame the laws of physics.
Sorry I'm testy, but alot of people said before this that they were just glad Texas is here. Those words seem to have evaporated quickly for a few.
If they lose another? Then maybe they aren't mature enough, or need a few different parts, or the manager made some errors, or the Giants really are that good - but suck? Gawd, it's like these guys gave us nothing this year.

They certainly don't suck. Thirty teams started the season in April, two are still here. All the others wish they were. I don't know what's gonna happen. I know what I hope does happen. The first two games have been painful, but I'm still glad to see The Rangers in the series win or lose. Honestly, I don't believe this is a one time event. Certain teams are built for short term success (Marlins, Rays, etc).. This team is built for the long run. We could honestly be the most dominate team in baseball for the next several years. I can't think of a team with a brighter foreseeable future and that includes The Yankees, Red Sox, & Phillies. This is just the beginning. Greenburg has suggested that we get used to this. I believe he's right. The present is great for this team and the future looks even better. This year has been more than special for The Rangers and their fans. Yeah, maybe it can be said that they "sucked" in the first couple of games (or that they didn't play like they are capable of), but this team doesn't suck......this is an elite team now and it will be for a few years to come. C'mon boys, let's right this ship and take this series. GO RANGERS!!!!!!!

Wash was f***ing A terrible tonite....it is the WS for crying out loud...you have several arms ready to go....if one comes out and doesn't have a clue where the strike zone is...you yank him...BEFORE HE LOADS THE BASES!!!
from what I saw of the Giants in the playoffs...and how important it is to get a run when you can....I think Wash is in over his head against this NL team...
just my opinion of course
and one more Opinion:
Jody....you take our opinions a whole lot more serious than we are when giving them

Jody, just like you, is entitled to his opinion. Jody, just like you, is free to express it on this board. I personally enjoy reading most opinions just to see what other people think.
Did you ever think people don't take your opinions seriously?

The Rangers did not play well. The last two nights the Giants have had the better pitching and as Yogi Berra used to say, "good pitching will beat good hitting,,,and vice versa."
Its first team to win 4 people, get a grip. And I am pretty sure the real Cliff Lee will be pitching in at least one more of the possible final 5.

The Scene: Rangers Ballpark, World Series, Game 3
The Proverbial Hush falls over the crowd as Tony Romo strides to the mound to throw out the First Pitch. He looks in, then goes into his windup, and releases the ball.
Unfortunately the ball is dropped by the catcher, Roy Williams, who ran the wrong route. On the second attempt, Romo is sacked.
