Tg....ballads get a bad rap from songs like MP...but I'll gladly suffer scores of those to finally get to listen to In The Living Years

The most glaring example:
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
"There ain't no one FOR TO GIVE YOU no pain"
Huh?!?!?!
I guess I'm to simple. I never thought much of what the lyrics were saying, just like the song.

I've looked for a copy of Ft. Worth, I Love You for years. Barely even any trace it was ever recorded, even on the web.

I have the song "Ft. Worth I Love You" by Michael Murphy. How can I get it to you?

I saw MMM perform in a little accoustic venue in Red River New Mexico with about 100 other skiers, and ski bunnies back in the 90's he was put on a great show. It was a perfect evening and seemed almost mystical, and I was not intoxicated or anything.

I much prefer this one:
Meterological sense???? He's not Harold Taft!! You old stick in the mud. You probably don't like MacArthur Park either!
Hey, its a Jimmie Webb song, therefore great. I couldn't stand Muskrat Love until I found out that Willis Alan Ramsey wrote it...now I can tolerate it at least.
