TC-TX, I will be saying prayers for you. I have not posted in a long time because I,too, have been dealing with cancer and chemo. My diagnosis came June 2. Surgery was the middle of the month, and I started chemo in July. I have lost my hair--not a pleasant thing for someone with my vanity---but if chemo makes the cancer go away, oh well...I start radiation in January. If you ever need to talk or vent, please let me know. Attitude does make so much difference as do the people who support you. I have such a wonderful group of people supporting me--family,friends, co-workers,and even people I have just met who have been through this. My best to you. Hang in there and keep a positive attitude.

Paul / TX-TC, I don't normally read the prayer requests but for some reason I opened up this one. And I did say a prayer for you.
My brother-n-law just got through with his battle with cancer -- tongue cancer. He was diagnosed around Christmas of last year. Had the chemo, lost his hair, feeding tube, and just plain miserable.
Saw him over labor day, he look good. Hair is growing back, putting on some weight. We got the news last week that he had his third PET scan. It was clean like the 2 before. He is considered healed. The doctors have no reason to think it will come back.
There is hope. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Helen. I was just think a little while back that I hadn't seen you post in a while. Prayers for you and Paul.
