Starts Tuesday, April 9th.

From what I've heard, it was brutal weather wise.  The ice flow shut them down for a long time.

I watched that show too.  It appears Jake and Josh had a major falling out over operating the CM this year.

CM is in dry dock and Jake and Josh will be deck hands on other boats.  I wonder how long Jake would last on the Wizard!

Good first episode.  Set it up nicely for the Josh/Jake CM debacle, storm of the century, Wild Bill going wild, Edgar coming back.

Lots of good storylines.  Hope it holds up.  It should be a good season.

I thought last season was a little off.  But it was tough to top the death of Captain Phil from the prior year.

Elliot on the Rambling Rose is a jerk. Couldn't find crab on his own, so he tracks down the Seabrook and dumps pots next to theirs and when caught claims he didn't see any other pots.

and then claims he will kick Jrs ass.  BTW... Elliott's girlfriend filed charges against him for stalking and harrassment.  Something like 50+ calls in an hour plus threats.  Real winner.

Missed it the other night due to other committments.  Waiting for the repeat.

Elliot can't catch any kind of crabs.

Elliot is a jerk and is about to have a mutiny of his crew.

The Hillstrand's know how to have a send off! "Time to shoot some guns."

Just why would Keith hire a guy who has never been on a boat, never been on a plane, and never been fishing? He goes on and on about this being the deadliest job in the world and "you're stepping into hell", then expects the kid to be able to perform like he grew up on a crab boat.

Not one of his better personnel moves.

Looks like they are trying to make a star out of Elliot.  Seemed to focus on him a lot this last couple of episodes.  And he is a jerk.

I know, I don't get it.  He can't catch anything unless he steals someone else's spot and he doesn't give a crap about his crew.

The rat should have been swimming.

I finally caught up on this season.  Discovery Channell ran all of this season yesterday night.  Now I am up to date.

The death of one of the players is the seasons highlight ? Thats kind of a sad comment.

Not really.  It made for compelling TV.   The death had been public knowledge for months when the shows finally aired.  It was treated with respect.

Line of the day from tonight's episode; Freddy, "I feel like an ass."

Said it all.

"did we push him too hard?"
"Were we too hard on him?"

The kid had never been on a boat or fishing. Hey, let's make your first the Bering Sea on the freaking Wizard.

Elliott would have sunk the boat fishing for ones and twos.

When Keith asked "how many fingers do you see?" and Chris said "four", he was technically correct.  Keith was holding up 2, but you could "see" all four.  LOL

They sure haven't shown much of FV Time Bandit.
