I am in my early 70's married with three adult children and one 4 year old granddaughter.

I was born and raised in Fort Worth but now have a small horse ranch in Boyd. I raise quarter and cutting horses.

I have collected and run Lionel O gauge trains since 1950. I am a member of various railroad and model railroad clubs. I spend some time driving across the country riding behind steam trains. My favorite is the Colorado narrow gauge.

I am also a member of a group that preserves a photographic history of Fort Worth.

Lionel, have you had success with your cutting horses?

Come from a yellow-dog democrat family. Some has strayed, some have not and I am just plain wishywashy! My family are all good people.

Can think up off the wall things to post and it aggravates some. SIGH

I consider the board my friend.

I really only know two things about a horse. One end eats (a lot) and the other end poops ( a lot).

I have hired a professional trainer to work with my almost 2 year old mare. He may also ride her in competitions.

I understand!  You'll have to let us know if your 2 year old goes to competitions...I'd love to go see her...

I think mine eat more than they poop...especially my old man that eats the $18 a bag senior and eats six scoops a day...but nothing is to good for ole Ranger...
