Karl Rove is about to learn what happens when someone crosses a “Mama Grizzly.” The Republican strategist questioned Sarah Palin’s suitability for president, and said the American people could have concerns whether she has the “gravitas” for the “most demanding job in the world.” Rove also said her upcoming reality show about Alaska’s wilderness could be a problem, noting “I am not certain how that fits in the American calculus of ‘that helps me see you in the Oval Office.’” While Rove said Palin had done a “terrific job” as Senator John McCain’s running mate in 2008, he said “being the vice-presidential nominee on the ticket is different from saying ‘I want to be the person at the top of the ticket.’” Rove also said that he felt most Republican voters had not yet made up their minds for the 2012 race.

Donald, I'm not a big fan of politics and don't follow them like some here.  I consider myself rational and sane and I vote conservative 80% of time, but I would question anyone's right mind if they thought Sarah Palin was suitable for the office of president.

She's more qualified than who we have in office now, but I agree with Rove.

Rove is right and you can say the same thing for most of the Tea Party. I can't think of one that has one iota of experience in foreign policy. Most of them are slogan Conservatives, not idealogs on domestic affairs. That means when the going gets rough they will be intellectual mincemeat for anyone who challanges them. They all talk about reducing spending but I don't know any of them that has the faintest clue on how to do it. I haven't heard one of them say they would cut one nickle out of the trillion a year we're spending on foreign policy or mention even one department of the federal govt. that we could do without.

That is true, including your boy...who shoves a bunch of pork into his bills.   Why?   Because politics is what it is and it's expected of them.    Rhetoric is easy.   :pan:

Why the constant focus on Palin? Your guy is in office and she's not even running. Talk him up if you can find something good to say about him...

Paul is going to reintroduce his bill to audit the FED in the new congress. And no, there won't be any "pork" in it. But, I'll bet most of the Tea Party won't support it. Not because they are against it, but because most of them will have no idea what a FED is!

I don't understand the constant focus on Palin and the things that have been said about her..but it sure has been an eye opener for many in this country when other republican females are treated in the same fashion. Very disturbing

Well donald, you mean that the Republicans are not all just Locksteppers ?

Palin is not my first choice, or second or third, but I would vote for her before Rove, or your Barry Soetero.

It's funny how many of you thought she was great until the MSM set you straight. They'll be glad to know they still have some power.

Do you think that the Dem's are scared that the first female president could be Republican?  Not that I support her for that...just wondering.  Whether she's as stupid as they say or not, I just don't understand the Dem obsession with Palin...

Very possibly could be true that they are uncomfortable about her ability to draw crowds.  And I don't believe she dumb anymore than we were led to believe Hillary didn't know what was happening with Monica.
