When I go to Progreso, I am going to try to get the technique they use for making street food beefsteak lonchitos. I want to make the meat as close to the street vendors as possible.

My grandfather just sold his place 2 miles or so from Progresso. they do have some good street food! I guess we'll need to find a new excuse to go to the valley now.

My mom, myself and my son's mom (msg) are going down to Kingsville on the 17th. Progresso on the 18th. Early Christmas shopping!!! Mom is gonna go to her dentist there. It is gonna be fun to take msg across for the first time!
I wonder if we are gonna have a pill list to take down with us this time...

Salmon tonight. Was on good sale, and Lamby just had to have some, so Hunnybunny and I are gonna have a good din-din tonight.

Din-din was actually pretty good tonight.
I had a date sans Lamby tonight. I actually got a little girly too!
Went to Red Lobster(had a gift card) and had a nice meal and adult conversation!!!
We had an apppetizer that we fell in love with.....fried calimari, broccoli, and red bell peppers.
I am NOT a fan of broc., although I will eat it if I have too. However, I couldn't get enough of the fried stuff! It was great! I wish I knew what they used as their crust, as I would like to repeat it at home. YUM YUM!!!
4 courses, app. salad, entree, and dessert.
A lot of fun and no little pooka-head saying he is still hungry after eating more than his mother.....
We went to Starbucks afterward....I HATE not being able to not drink coffee, but oooh, the smell of the beans!
 ALMOST makes up for the Stars balls-up........
